How To Understand An Urine Analysis Report?

Hi.. I just want to clear things. I two days ago I had my urinalysis, can you help me interpret .. Color yellow transparency hazy ph 6.0 sg 1.005 Rbc 0-2 wbc 2-4 epithelial cell rare, mucous thread rare amorphous substance rare bacteria few.. Please help me with this. Thanks a lot

hi thanks for trusting us

your reports simply suggestive of UTI with traces of blood in urine
presence of few bacteria confirms it
if i were your doctor i would suggest you urine culture and sensitivity test for selection of exact antibiotic that will disinfect your urinary tract completely by killing all pathogenic germs

keep yourself hydrated by having 5-6 liters fluid daily that also help in flushing

consult your doctor for selection of antibiotic and supportive care

Hello

Findings may suggests urinary tract infection(UTI).
UTI is indicated by hazy appearance of urine and presence of few bacteria,RBC and WBC in urine.
Epithelial cells and mucus threads are normally found in urine.
Few amorphous substances are also normal.

You need clinical correlation and investigations like routine hemogram,renal function test,Urine culture and sensitivity and Ultrasound of abdomen.
Leukocyte esterase test and nitrite test can be done for confirmation of UTI.

Proper antibiotics should be prescribed after culture and sensitivity report.
You should drink plenty of water.
