How To Wean Off Mirtazapine Slowly Without Any Side Effects? 

Hi , I have recently started taking mirtazapine for anxiety. I am onday 10 now but the side effects are just too much for me. I just want to know will these side effects go away soon or should I just stop taking them altogether. . i am extremely tired all the time and I feel Paralyzed in my Arms and legs and mouth. I feel Spaced else. I struggle with driving and concentration and my co-ordination is out of sync.

I would have recommended my patient to stop the drug immediately because of the unbearable side effects. It is highly unlikely that a withdrawal reaction will set in if you are using the drug for less than 4 weeks. You seem to be having lot os trouble with the medication and you have started it just 10 days back, so the most logical thing to do is to stop the medicine and introduce alternative anti-anxiety medications once the symptoms subside.
