hi.. i have understood your concerns..
it is good to know that u are willing to quit
tobacco chewing. i ll surely help u...
the schedule for stopping
nicotine addiction is to stop the tobacco completely and start nicotine chewing gum along with drugs..
u shud take nicotine chewing gums, which come with a brand name of nicotex chewing gum [2 mg ,4 mg]. depending upon your chewing habit and number of pouches u take in a day, the frequency of taking nicotex is decided..
i ll suggest u to take nicotex 4 to 6 times a day, on the first day and take it for 5 days continuously, then gradually start decreasing the nicotex one per week..
like, if u r taking 5 nicotex then make it 4 after 5 days then 3 after 1 week, then 2 after 1 week and finally stop within 6 weeks..
along with nicotex, u have to take medication which will lower your craving for tobacco, for up to 3 to 6 months..
u have to take tablet bupron xl [150 mg] in the morning after breakfast, and increase the dose after 5 days to 300mg bupron xl in the morning...
both the drug nad nicotex shud be started on the same day and u shudnt take tobacco from that day onwards.. within 3 mnths of treatment u ll be free from tobacco chewing as wellas from nicotex and continue bupron for another 3 mnths..
i hope u ll find this advice helpful.. best luck
