How Will I Know That My Blood Is Dangerously Thin?

Hello

I am having Afib and dcotor prescribed debigatran.

My concern is that how am I going to know if the blood is dangerously thin. I heared that INR is not indicative when you are taking debigatran. Thanks for your time and looking forward to your answer.

Dabigatran is a oral anticoagulant drug.

It is prescribed to prevent coagulation of blood.

INR is term used to denote the property of coagulation.

It can only be used when you are not on anticoagulation medication.

Becausevidbyou are on anticoagulation drug it affects the INR value.

You should do APTT . it will tell you your exact blood thining property when on drug.
