No, you are a child, still growing. When you weigh 140, ask again. Muscle weighs more than fat! you may have more muscles than a girl with a smaller NUMBER. This is a good thing. Muscles also burn more calories fat -even while standing still.
You are not EXTREMELY tall for your age. 6 foot would be extremely tall. But there is nothing wrong with being tall, either. At 13, you may have reached your adult height. Or you might gain a couple of inches. Be glad! Clothes will fit you better.
Why are you telling anyone what you weigh? Stop focusing on a number. Do you feel good? Do your clothes fit? Are you strong? Lazy? Depressed?
Next time someone asks how much you weigh, tell him/her there must be something about you more interesting than any number. Ask them why they want to know.
Encourage your friends not to focus on any number, but on being healthy, strong, and feeling good.
Eat lots of veggies and fruit. Stay away from sugar like it is poison. (It is.) Stay away from fried food, and empty calories, like soda, cake or potato chips.
Eat lean meat-if you must- and lots of whole wheat bread and other ww products.
Read a book about good nutrition. You only get one body, take good care of it, and be grateful you can run, jump and eat by yourself!
Your skin will be glad, you will be building beautiful hair and a strong body from the inside out. You will have more energy.
Exercise almost every day, not like a nut on an elliptical for 3 hours, but walk around, play ping-pong, ride a bike, walk your dog, go swimming, learn to dance, take
yoga class or martial arts, swing at the park. Go out for softball. Anything to move. A lot!
It will make you strong, agile, graceful, build good muscles and bones, and give you something fun to think about besides your weight.
My challenge to you is this: Be healthy, be confident, be passionate about your life. Spend time giving to others, like at a homeless shelter, a hospital, or pet vet. You might discover how EXTREMELY lucky you are to have legs, and arms, a strong heart and both eyes. You might find a career helping others.
Quit listening to idiot little girls who have nothing to offer but a skinny behind, and unkind remarks. They are NOT your friends.
Good luck!
