I Am 16 Years Old And I Get Frequent Vomiting. Do I Need Medical Attention ?

I am 16 years old and for the past week or so, I have felt like I have had to throw up after I eat, sometimes I will, and I (even though this is weird) burp after eating . I feel sick to my stomach, and I can be so hungry at the end of the day and after eating a little bit, I throw it all up. I have been under a lot of stress lately, but I don t know if this would attribute to how horrible I have been feeling. What is wrong?

You are probably having gastritis or a gastric infection which needs immediate attention. You must keep well hydrated and go to the ER immediately as the Doctors need to examine you and treat you immediately. Most probably it points to a gastric ulcer which can be confirmed by Endoscopy. Avoid eating rough, hard, hot, spicy food. Eat bland, semisolid, soft, cool food like yoghurts and buttermilk. Stay away from wheat as well for a while. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Drink plenty of water. Get examined and by your Doctor as soon as you can.

hello, welcome to HCM. You seem to be suffering from gastritis. You should avoid spicy food and take fresh fruits and vegetables. You should drink lots of water. You can take tablet pantoprazole on empty stomach twice a day for 5 days. If you still continue to have the symptoms consult a gastroenterologist. He may need to do and upper GI endoscopy. Wish you good health.

Dear
this can be attributed to your stress also, otherwise generally it is due to indigestion, constipation, hyperacidity, improper sleep, over medication etc.
All that is needed is skip a meal to let system restore, then have light diet as rice gruel and appetiser like tomato soup. Pomegranate seeds mixed in paste of tomato onion salt mint pepper and sugar make good digestive aid.
be regular with your meals avoid fast and stale food . no anxiety or stress be happy.
