I Am Diabetic, Parents Too Had Diabetes. Worrying About My Son, Suggest Me Changes In Life Style To Be Followed
my son s age 13 wt 66 kg ht 154cm his birth weight is 3kg 800gms...i am having type 2 diabetes for past 1 yr and bp for past 7 yrs.....also my both parents had...i am worrying about my son, whether he may get early ..kindly advice and precautions and life style to be follow..thanking u in advance

your worry is genuine as your child is over weight for his age and you have DM.Also there is family h/o DM .You should see that he does exercises regularly and particepates in sport activies in school.He should avoid all high calory junk foods.If possible his lipid profile and Blood sugar level should be investigated.Regular exercise and diet contol is very much needed to avoid DM in his life .
