I would like to know your liver enzyme status. Hep b is commonly self limiting and doesn't require treatment but one should keep in kind that it has a chronic component as well. U might be fit for the work but whether or not they take u depends on company policy

Hi Siva,
Welcome to HCM.
You can enclose the doctor,s certificate along with the reports and subit to your company. Since the virus is inactive an low in quatitiy you should be eligible.
Welcome to HCM,
Since your Hepatitis B virus is inactive and as suggested by your Primary care Physician(PCP) about no requirement of treatment at present makes me believe that your enzyme level should be normal and if it is so,it should not be a worry for you as part of your pre-employment medicals.Your job profile does not involve very extensive pre-employment medical investigations except CBC/X-Ray chest and Urine-Routine and Microscopy. Some countries does make it mandatory not to conduct HIV and Hepatitis-B as pre-employment medicals but in all it depends on your company policy. As a part of declaration you may have to inform about your Hep-B status, but this in no way should obstruct you in taking the position in the company except if any medical insurance issue coming up by the company's corporate medical insurance company.
I hope your query has been answered well.
