Milk production usually takes a couple of days to start adequately.Consult your doctor about getting some medicines to enhance the production of lactation.Nutritious diet and a good exercise is necessary for lactation.Some prescription drugs like domperidone are often used for increasing lactation.

Thank You doctor, currently i am taking lactim tablet, can i stop this and take the medicine which u have told. Doctor please tell me one thing i will be going bck to office in another 3 months now my baby is 3 months old, can i start breast pumping for both increasing my milk production and to store milk while i am at work. I have an doubt whether pumping will increase milk production. Please help me out doctor.
Pumping will not increase the milk production.You should have the lactim for at least a month and if it doesnt work then talk to your doctor about switching over.You can store the extra milk after your baby has stopped feeding.You can use a breast pump also but dont stop breast feeding completely.

Because it will take 1 month to fix an appoint ment with my gynaec. my milk production has dried up unable to produce milk, so can i switch over from lactim to domperidone, but lactim is like ayurvedic one no side effects, i dont know abt this tablet. please help me out in relactating
I suggest that wait for your doctor's prescription about this.Even though it may take some time,its safer since he knows your history and has examined him.
