I Cough Up Pinkish Sputum And What Does The Prescence Of Tortuous Thoracic Aorta In The Report Indicate?

I cough up pinkish sputum. A chest xray report says The cardiac silhouette is normal. There is tortuous thoracic aorta. No interstitial edema of local consolidation present. No pleural effusion or pneumothorax is is seen . Where is this blood coming from then? What further tests, if any do I need? I have mild acid reflux and wonder if there is a connection. Thank you for any help you can provide.

HI
Thanks for your query.
Presence of blood in the sputum could be due to a local cause in the throat. It could also be due to bronchitis (especially if you have associated fever).
So you should see a physician who can examine you and determine if any of the above is causing your symptoms.
Hope this helps
Good luck
