Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Do I Need To Go To The ER For An ECG Showing Sinus Bradycardia With Minor Inferior Repolarization Disturbance?
I got an ECG done earlier. The results says Sinus Rhythm slow. Minor inferior repolarization disturbance, consider Ischemia, LV overload or ae specific change. ECG without significant abnormalities. I don’t feel anymore lightheaded and I feel it was my bradicardia and a heat stroke (NYC is hot!). Do I need to go to the ER or not anymore? I was feeling off at 10:20am and now it’s 2:20pm. I started taking electrolytes, ate and have stayed indoors after going to the clinic… City MD was quite inconclusive and said I should go to ER cause they didn’t want to say it was all okay (like for real that happened). I am waiting my cardiologist to come back to me and tell me if he sees this as necessary since he knows about my bradycardia. Thoughts? My HRV is super low, like 36 versus my usual 50 but I am not sure if I should freak out and run or just wait a bit longer.
