I Had A Heart Murmur, Is This Normal ?

I went to the Doctor a few days ago and she told me I had a heart murmur. She set up an appointment for an echo cardio something. No one has ever told me I had a heart murmur before so i think that possibly it just kinda popped up. I've been feeling weak, tired, shaky and having shortness of breathe. Is this normal? Does it have anything to do with the heart murmur. I'm a little worried about it. Thanks for all the answers!

Your murmur could have something to do with Aortic Stenosis, or Aortic regurgitation, because i have both of those and your symptoms are similar to mine. But then again your murmur could be innocent, and your symptoms could have nothing to do with it. You wont know till they find out if your murmur is innocent or part of heart disease. Make sure your bring up those symptoms with your doctor.
