I Had Fissures After My Delivery, Is There Any Chance Of It Reoccurring ?

Hi, I had fissures after my delivery. But now i have no pain and bowel movement is fine, im maintaining good food habits also. Is there any chance of it reoccurring ? And what should i do for fissure not to reoccur

The chances of recurrance are there as a reslt of straining. Avoid constipation have stool softners, more vegetables, have tab trifla vati 2 at bed time and apply jatyadi tailif there is some irritation.

Hi sujiaju it certainly may reappear. Don't let constipation to take control over your health. For prevention you may take triphala powder(nitya powder if you have fissure) after meals at bed time for constipation. I suggest Ghrita(from buffalo milk) mixed with licorice(extract of Glycyrrhiza glabra root) and apply warm in the anal region for pain relief. Strictly avoid anal intercourse. And at least sitz bath with warm water boiled with Datura leaves twice a day for pain and INFLAMMATION. Use anal dilators before defecation. Thats all mam. You don't need more. This treatment is more than enough.

hello !!
as you are aware about the quote "prevention is better than cure"
so yours is the condition where you need to take the precautionary measure to avoid straining at stool which may arise your problem. drink plenty of water ,steam bath, fibre rich vegetables etc.

Fissures can reoccur but to get rid of them you need to prevent constipation.
Add fibre food in your diet, green vegetables, plenty of liquids. You can take tablet Y- lax , 2 tabs. at bed time with luke warm water to prevent constipation.

Anal fissures are seen in postpregnancy patients due to long labour, straining etc..Though most heal spontaneously, they also can become chronic and also recurcan take to avoid recurrrance.Do not strain whist defecating.Drink lots of water(8-10 glasses) everyday.Take stool softeners like Isabgol.increase intake of fresh veggies and fruits.use sitz baths.If you see blood in stools/any worsening please see a doctor.
