I Have A Shiny White Lump On First Joint Of Index Finger.
i have a shiny white lump on first joint of index finger . it fills with clear sticky fluid and is very sore . i also have a swelling on left tibia, noticeable but painless shiny white lump on index finger, very sore and painful and painless swelling on tibia, generalised bone pain
Your symptoms suggest that you have bony-tumors, there are of various types (depending on the type of cells they contain like osteoma, chondroma etc) , some are benign and some may be malignant/cancerous. A benign tumor , if troublesome can be removed surgically. A malignant one requires elaborate treatment. So please see an orthopedic specailist and undergo the required test, without wasting time.
Takecare.
THANKYOU FOR YOUR INPUT. I SAW AN ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEON TODAY WHO SAID IT SOUNDS LIKE A MUCOUS CYST AND CAN BE REMOVED BUT MAY RECUR. NO TESTS DONE AND NO EXAMINATION OF LEG SWELLING. I FEEL I AM WASTING THEIR TIME. SHOULD I GET A SECOND OPINION. ALL MY MATERNAL RELATIVES AND PATERNAL HAVE DIED FROM CANCER.
