I Have A Small Hard Lump On The Left Side Of My Neck. Should I Be Concerned ?
I have a small hard lump on the left side of my neck near my collar bone about the size of a pea. My neck muscles on that side are also sore . I haven t been sick. I do have asthma which flares up occasionally but haven t had any problems with that in a few weeks. I m female. Age 29. Should I be concerned ?

Do you have associated cough, fever or weight loss? Do you breast pain? May be it is a Enlarged Lymph Node. But it has to be examined by a Physician and a Gynecologist. Get your Chest and Breast examined to rule out any underlying Pathology.
If it is changing in size and shape, it may be sent for biopsy and you will be evaluated Further.

Small hard lump on neck if it is painful it can be a enlarged lymph node which is inflammed or infection or even a abscess in making .Since the neck muscles are also sore on that side it will be better if you get examined by a doctor to see what exactly it is and then get treated.Till then please take a pain killer to reduce the pain.

It appear to be an enlarged lymph nodes.if size is more than 1 cm it becomes significant.as you have not mentioned about pain.so it is considered as painless .Painless lymph nodes more than 1 cm in diameter always needs investigation by FNAC.
