I Have Some White Things Stick To My Tonsil With A Cough

I am getting over a cold and am coughing a lot...I recently coughed up a couple hard white things then noticed my throat felt like there was still something in it. I looked in the mirror and saw something sticking out from my tonsil. Sorta looks like a uvula growing in the wrong direction. It doesn t hurt. I am wondering if this is something serious.

You might be having some ulcerative Tonsilitis or Upper Respiratory infection. But what infection you have can only be ruled out by proper examination from a qualified ENT specialist. So Its better you get an ENT check up done at you earliest.

Cough following an attack of flu is very common, You need to consume plenty of warm water, do steam inhalation and if the cough persists for long can go for cough suppressants. Regarding the growth popping out from the tonsil, it is just a hypertrophied tonsil with a deeper crypt. You need to consult your ENT specialist to confirm the diagnosis.
