Hi,I am Dr. Joan F. Tryzelaar (Cardiac Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have tricuspid regurgitation. My last echo was in 07. My cardiologist at the time said it was basically not an issue, but I ve been really nervous about it lately. What are the chances that it s a life-threatening issue? What would be any signs/symptoms of it being a serious problem?
u shud have mentioned your complete echp report and age.......TR as such is not worrying unless it is a result of backpressure from either lungs or left sided heart chambers.....engorged neck veins & pedal edema should esp worry
Dont get too worried if dr has assured u it might be a trivial TR , just an incidental finding.
