I Have Very Severe Eye Problems

I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (type TBD classic/hypermobility/variation but not IV), and I have very severe eye problems progressing. Glaucoma-ALT 2002, photosensitivity for years but now backlit screens are impossible with strabismus worsening and double vision. They say my optic nerves are assymmetrical, retinas look intact, but loss of vision with light is severe and extremely painful like my eyes are getting pushed out of the sockets. Cornea scratched twice, same eye, after hives. Dry eyes for 20 years (I m 51 now), but I manage that, but can t handle light, or sustain stable vision for long. Glasses help me to see better than without them, but eyes just don t hold together. Is this unusual with EDS?

hi
EDS is very unpredictable condition
course of the disease is differ from person to person
mainly genetic factor play major role
it involved many system but mainly disease of connective tissue
u have develop photo sensitivity also
u must wear sun glass and it must be like that pt wear after cataract operation .
u should apply drops for dry eye
better to consult eye doctor
u must take care and not allow to it progress as our main priority is to control it and stop its progress.
at last i advise u to be active and do regular physiotherapy or exercise .
