my period is late for over a week today i saw a brown mocous and the some minimal blood spotting when i usually get my period is really heavy what coud it be?

Have you tested for pregnancy? Get a test done to see if you are pregnant. To have minimal dischare 1 week late from periods can be due to the implantation bleed. OS get the UPT done soon.
