What Should I Do About Persistent Symptoms Despite Being Treated For BV With Flagyl And Boric Acid?
I was diagnosed with BV in early September from a swab. I was prescribed Flagyl for five days and was also given a Fluconazole pill while awaiting the results, which ended up being negative for yeast infection. I continue to have symptoms of BV, including a thick white coating in my vagina. My GYN told me to continue the Flagyl 1x a week for three months, and I also tried boric acid suppositories. My symptoms have not worsened or improved. What can I do next?
