My still Is now soft and just together but I have brown stringing things on my stool and my heartburn is the same even with me taking 150mg ranitidine twice daily. Any answers would be great!
Hello, You are already suffering from IBS. The cause fir IBS may be any infection in the GI tract. The symptoms of IBS may resemble that of what you have now. You should have been already advised to follow FODMAP diet for IBS. If not follow the diet in future. As your symptoms developed after you ate spices Mexican food - it may be due to hyper acidity. Your heart burn may be due to IBS. Generally take FODMAP diet. Along with that you must follow regular bland diet, avoiding milk, oil and chilly. Diet only will cure IBS as well your present complaints. Along with Ranitidine you can take Antacids and Anti flautulants If indicated an upper GI endoscopy along with USG of the abdomen may be of use to assess the internal situation. So the treatment for your problems are medicines mentioned and diet advised. Best wishes
