Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I went to pick up my Estratest....and I was told that is now a control substance. I had to go to my dr. even tho I had refills. My dr. had not heard this. Is it true OR did the pharmacy mess up?? AND if it is true, why is it a control substance. Thanks.....
Hello , Estratest by itself is not a control substance but Methyl testosterone which is a constituent of estratest is supposed to be a control substance by itself. Actually it is an FDA approved drug but it has been withdrawn bcz loss of libido is not a symptom of menopause by itself so...it is considered to be used as controlled substance now. Hope it helps.
