Hello,
It is possible to experience episodes of hypoglycemia in diabetes after an infection; the implant can cause dizziness. The implant can also cause disturbances of the menstrual pattern, breast tenderness, headaches, nausea, weight disturbances and abdominal pain, to mention a few. The failure rate is very low at .05%. Yet, you may get a pregnancy test done and follow it up with a sonogram and consult your gynecologist for further advice. Take care.
