Uric acid is a chemical produced in the body during the final step of purine
metabolism. Uric acid is toxic and it is normally excreted by the kidneys. If the body produces excessive amounts of uric acid or is unable to remove it, this results high concentration of uric acid in the blood , which can lead to kidney stones and
gout.
There are various drugs for the treatment of high uric acid like
Pain killers
Use of drugs which block the purine metabolism
Use of drugs which increase excretion of uric acid through kidneys.
You have to consult your doctor for the proper examination and prescription of appropriate medicines to you.
Do the following
... Foods high in purines, including organ and red meats, and some seafood, should be eaten in moderation, or eliminated completely, to keep uric acid levels in balance.
....give up high sugared drinks
....Alcohol, and especially beer and wine, can increase uric acid levels. In order to stabilize uric acid in the bloodstream, you may need to eliminate alcohol.
....take plenty of water
....reduce your weight.
...avoid bread,spinach,broccoli,
liver,mushroom,sweet potatoes and bacon.
