Infant. Pea Sized Lump Under Skin Like Bite Mark, Does Not Move. No Pain. History Of Getting Shots. Reaction?

My son is 8 months old. He had his shots about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I noticed a few weeks ago that it looked like something had bitten him on the side of his thigh above his knee. The front appearance went away, but there has been a lump under the skin. It is a hard pea sized bump. It does not move, and does not seem to bother him. Is this normal. I thought maybe it could be a reaction to his shots, but I didnt think he got his shots that low on his leg
