Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,welcome to HCM and thank you for your query with regard to your daughter who is throwing severe tantrum and resisting feeding and sleep. It seems 2 teeth erupted.During the period of teething, the infants will be in this stage of restlessness, may be due to pain associated with eruption because they come out of the gums .This may be for a few weeks and the babies adjust to the teething.During this period honey may be given along with simple paracetamol to relieve pain and mild sedation with Cyproheptadine which has got both appetising effect and antihistaminic action, both are desirable.
