Infected Blood Clot During Pregnancy. Taking Ovipure, Susten. How Do They Work?

Hi! I am 38 yrs and 15 weeks pregnant. I had a blood clot 3 weeks back which got infected. I was treated for the infection and have been advised complete bed rest for a month. I have been told to take ovipure injections for a month and weekly injections of Proluton depo 500 mg and Decdan. Apart from this I am also taking Susten 200 suppositories twice a day. How exactly are all these working? Do I really need so much medication?

Hello,
These medications are basically steriods and hormone supplements to sustain your pregnancy because you are 38, and in the high risk category.
You doctor is trying to give you maximum support in this high risk pregnancy. Nothing is fool-proof. But you are getting all the help possible.
