Eye irritation if continuous falls under the table of chronic or persistent allergic conjonctivits. The treatment is usually a long term treatment that might go up to three months, might require injections of steroids and if still resistant, management plans could go over a year or deserve immune desensitization sessions by an allergist.

The infectious component must be considered carefully. Adequate local anti inflammatory drugs and antibiotics, generally Quinolones in this case should be able to eradicate the infection. Recurrence might occur due to use of inappropriate drugs or limited duration of treatment. Cultures of the discharge if abundant and persistent, to identify the causative agent and for sensitivity testing is a rare but at times useful consideration.

The opinion of an opthalmologist and an allergist, if need be, could be of great help.

4. Wear face mask, gloves while driving and walking in polluted environment.
5. it is better to take a shower when ever you return to house.It is to avoid outdoor air pollutants.
6. Keep your house and environment clean to reduce all pollutants.
7. Shift your residence to un polluted or low polluted area.

Treatment with antihistamines are needed whenever you feel uncomfortable.
