Hi,
Welcome to HCM ,
Mitral Valve Prolapse and Trivial Valve Regurgitation means part of mitral valve leaflet is going back in to left atrium , and it can cause some leaking means blood flow will go back in reverse direction ,
just observation and regular follow up and regular 2D Echo to monitor severity of regurgitation will sufficient ,
avoid heavy exercise ,
regular follow up with cardiologist and next visit decided by Echo finding and if regurgitation remains same level then yearly follow up enough but if there is change in severity then frequent follow up required ,
take care
