Inguinal Hernia Surgery On Left Side. Testicle Swollen And Hard To Touch. Developed Hematoma. Is This Normal Or Surgeon's Error?
I had inguinal hernia surgery on the left side over two weeks ago.My left testicle is still swollen and very hard to the touch.I don't have much pain but am very concerned it might be a serious coInguinamplication.i have gone twice for a follow up and the doctor said it was nothing to worry about.I was also told I had developed a hematoma, I was wondering if that's common or more of a surgeon error.Thank you for your help.
Hi, The problem you are having problem might be due to hematoma. It happens some time due to some bleeding after operation. Apply ice pack 2-3 times a day. Take antibiotic medicine for few days more. Do not hang your testicles and wear some support giving inner wear. If require your doctor will go for drainage of blood. Ok and take care.
