Intermittent Nausea, Abdominal Pain, Upset Stomach, Tightness Around Ovary, Not Pregnant. Endometriosis Or Something More Serious?
I have been experiencing on and off nausea, pain in my abdomen, upset stomach, fatigue , no appetite , a stretching , tightening feeling mostly in my left ovary , and lower back pains for about three months. It started in July and during the month of August, it wasn t as bad but this month has been horrible. Each month I have had my period and I m on my period right now. I am not pregnant since I have tested multiple times. I tend to vary in weight as well and bloat so much. Is this Endometriosis or something more serious?
Hi
You need to get a couple of investigations done:
1. Pelvic ultrasound and ultrasound abdomen.
2. complete hemogram.
3. Liver function tests.
4. Thyroid function test
Do not worry its nothing very serious!
Once you get the investigations done the cause can be easily pointed out.
Advice:
1. A course of pantoprazole- domperidone combination like Pan D tab before breakfast for about 15 days. ( just observe if your pain , nausea and bloating sensation of abdomen subsides )
2. Oral antispasmodic like dicycloverine hydrochlodire tablet only if lower abdominal pain is severe.
3. For lower back pain see with hot formentation first. If it does not help you can try oral medications like aceclofenac tablets as required .
Thanks.
