Irritated Tongue With White Tender Spots, Pain While Swallowing. Due For Replacing Filling In Back Tooth. Infection?

My tongue feels irritated, and I just now spotted a white spot on it. I thought it might be due to a small chip off
my back tooth, that I have an appt. to have the filling to be replaced next week. But this is very tender, and
it hurts to swallow. My dentist has given me Triamcin, but it provides short relief. I'm wondering if the white spot
is an indication of something else.

It may be oral lesion stomatitis is likely possibility and nothing to worry about it proper treatment gives good result you can try salicylic mouth preparation with folic acid orally if it does not give relief then you can discus it with dentist, mouth lesion has to be clinically examined have nice day.
