Irritation, White Patches On Chin After Using Dye On Beard. Any Treatment For This Reaction?
Hi doctor, I am 58 yrs old. I have been sporting french beard for past several years. As the beard start graying i started using dye. After applying the dye i used to feel mild irritation for next half hour. Next day onward i used to feel itchy and while scratching the beard dandruff like flakes used to fall out. This continued for two to three years. Last year i observed several small white patches on my chin under the beard. Have shown dermatologists and taken medicines/cream etc, but there was no improvement. I strongly believe that this is a reaction caused by hair dye as there are no white patches on other part of my body and the sizes of those patches beneath my beard remained unchanged. Kindly advise if there is any treatment for this. Thanking you in anticipation. RC
