Is 10mg Duphaston The Right Medication For Missed Period?

Hi, i have not had my menses in like 3 years. I went to see a gynae and he recommended duphaston 10mg for 30 days. After 30 days i stopped and 2 days after i had my period but it only lasted for 2 days. This was like 7 months ago and i havent had my period ever since. Was i given the right dosage? AB

Hi,

You have been given the right dosage. You shall continue taking Duphaston for your periods to be regular for at least 6 months. Take Duphaston 10 mg for 21 days in a month. You should be getting your period in last seven days i.e in pill free days.
