Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My grandfather is 78 years old and has been taking medications for heart pain. His blood pressure that we just checked was 97/56. Is that too low or ok for him right now?
The figures monitored aren't real. That is, they're not "true".
Having said that, my reaction is to gradually stop taking the medications.
I worked out years ago that they did no good, and some were lethal, so I stopped taking them and threw them all away. Now I'm 80, fit, and feel fine.
P.S. There's no such thing as a "baseline", - only numpties. nurses, and trolley-pushers think like that, because it's what they've been told, and they don't know sufficient to contradict it.
