Is A M Dopa safe during pregnancy.

My wife has 8th Month running and doctor mentioned A M Dopa. Kindly suggest.

Also doctor told that KID has Kidney Swelling. Is there anything serious and also what things need to avoid in food ?

Alpha methyl dopa is completely safe in pregnancy and I'm sure your doctor must have a valid reason to prescribe it.
