Is AAA Associated With Stomach Pulsations With Diarrhea & Back Pain?
Hi there I m a 13 year old female and I am 5 4 and weigh 60kg. I am not very active and do not have any current health problems. A week or so ago I got sick with diarrhea and stomach pain. During this week I realized my stomach has been pulsating and I can only see it and feel it when lying down. I m worried it might be an AAA but I assume I m too young to have it. I m also experiencing lower back pain in my left side. Is it likely that I have AAA? Do I need to visit a doctor? Thanks.

Since you are only 60 kg,you might be thin and in such case ,you may feel aortic pulsation in epigastrium. The normal pulsatile aorta can be easily palpated in thin individuals. USG abdomen will be able to diagnose Abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA) and is inexpensive .
