Is Acetazolamide Intake For Reducing Eye Pressure Safe Before Boarding A Flight?
I am going to fly from Dallas to Seattle tomorrow. Just this evening I picked up a prescription for Acetazolamide. I am worried about taking it and flying because it came with the precaution that it might cause dizziness. Should I wait until tomorrow afternoon, after I land in Seattle, to take it. I am taking it to reduce eye pressures caused by glaucoma.
HI i have gone through the question and understand your concern. Answer depends on what is your current eye pressure and how long is your flight. if your pressure is too high , then you should take acetazolamide regardless of the side effect. although it doesnt cause dizziness in each and every person. According to me , you can take the acetazolamide . keep youself hydrated. Hope this was of help Thankyou.
