Is Alere Determine HIV 1/2 Test Done 44 Days Post Exposure Conclusive?

Hi I am worrying a lot i need help. I had vaginal sex using condim with csw, but since i was drunk not 100% sure on protection. I had taken Alere antigen and antiboby combo test using fingure tip blood at local health community centre at 24th day, 34th day and 44th day after that probable exposure. All result negative and person who took my test he confirmed this test is conclusive at 4 week. But Iam still worry because some web site talk about accuracy of antigen part of alere combo test... Pls advice do i need further test ?

hello, if she says she is clean don't get over frightened. According to your history you can't have contacted HIV or STD (except herpes) since you have had protected intercourse only. Still you can wait for 3 wks and get the HIV tested if you have doubts.. other STDs can be tested like in 2 wks. Only STD which could have contacted according to your history is Herpes ( if she has had that disease during your sexual encounter). you could tested for that in 14_ 21 days. hope this helps .
