Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have previously had success with Indocid and took a prescription for it to the pharmacy but they gave me Indomethacin (Arthrexin). On a previous occasion I was given a substitute which did not reduce the swelling so I am suspicious of substitutes. Is Arthrexin EXACTLY the same as Indocid? Thank you Clem Sturgess YYYY@YYYY
Hello Thank You for contacting HCM. Welcome to Health Care Magic. My name is Dr Muhammad Ahmad & i will look into your problem.
I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way.
Yes Arthrexin and Inindocid Both have indomethacine as and ingredient so they are exactly the same ...if you take same dose of Arthrexin which you used to take of Indocid there should theocraticly be no problem at all..
Some quality of drugs and the material with which they make it can be different but in my opininion you are good to go with it and hopefully will have no issues.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. Wishing you good health
