Is Aspirin Ideal In Case Of Stomach Pain And Bloating With Pressure Sensation In Pubic Area?
Yes, my husband who is 50 years old has moderate stomach pains, bloating (a feeling of being full of food or air/gas), he feels pressure in his pubic area when trying to sit up. He takes Crestor and low dose aspirin daily and has had his prostate removed. There is no fever or vomitinghowever, he has had diarrhea. It s been going on for 48 hours. What could it be?
Hello,Thanks for asking HCM. Your husband may be suffering from acid peptic disorder and\ or Enteritis. Actually aspirin is not to be given if the cause of pain abdomen is not known. I treat this type of patients in my clinic with antacids and if diarrhea still persisting, give them antibiotic and anti amoebic. If pain is severe I do add antispasmodics. He must take lots of fluids to avoid dehydration. Diet should be bland, till he is recovered. If he does not improve please see a doctor. Good luck.
