Is BP Being 138/90 In 31st Week Of High Risk Pregnancy Serious?
31 weeks pregnant. High risk pregnancy. BP is 138/90. Home nurse sent to hospital. Nurses at hospital say it s normal and just go home. Previous pregnancy history of hypertension. Induced at 36 weeks. Nurses not having doctor assess. Does this seem normal?
hi thanks for writing to us since there is a previous history of pregnancy induced hypertension ,there are chances that in can occur in this pregnancy too.usually with previous history you should be under consultant care.138/90 bp need to be rechecked.your treatment is based on whether you have any headache,swelling of both feet,urine albumin test is needed.it is advised that you have a consultation soon with a obstetrician and gynaecologist. hope this was useful
