Is Banocide Effective For Allergic Dry Cough?
For Allergic/dry cough can banocide (contains Diethylcarbamazine Citrate ) be good medicine? My doctor prescribed it. But after taking for more than a week the cough has not been cured fully. It is getting suppressed if i am on the drug. and again starts after stopping for 24 hours.

Banocide is used for the treatment of filariasis (infections due to certain parasites).
It would only be helpful for you if the doctor suspects that your cough is due to a parasitic infection.
You would need to clarify this with him or her as soon as possible.
If you are using it for parasitic infection treatment then you should be taking it in a specific way.
Other than this use, it is not a cough medication.
