Is CBD And THC Advisable While On Gabapentin For Nerve Pain?
I have multiple myeloma and have finished my chemo treatments and a stem cell transplant. The MM and the chemo damaged my short nerve fibers in my feet and has left me with neuropathy. I was on a cymbalta and gabapetin mix but cymbalta and I did not do well so I am now on gabapetin only. However, I seem to be moody and argumentative on this drug. 900mg a day. It does not seem to do anything for the nerve pain. Which is intense. I was given a CBD and THC liquid mix to help with the pain. It seems to offer mild relief. Is gabapetin safe to mix with CBD and THC? It has been suggested that smoking this mix through a vamps would be better but again should I be on gabapetin with the CBD and THC? Thank you
You can safely take CBD while on gabapentin. It will not interact with each other. However, you might feel excessive sleepiness while combining them together.
