Is Ciprofloxacin Drug Recommended For Ear And Sinus Infection?
My daughter is out of the country and believes she has a sinus and ear infection. She is allergic to penicillin and sulpha drugs. She is asking if she can safely take cipro. She has also been experiencing altitude sickness as she is in Peru and moves on to Ecuador Sunday.

If she has a sinus Infection she can take ciprofloxacin provided if she has taken it before and is confirmed about being non allergic..
Along with antibiotics she can also do steam inhalation, saline nasal irrigation and use decongestant nasal spray..
Antibiotic and analgesic ear drops can also help..
