Hi Dr. I ve been diagnosed with sinus tachycardia but I feel more they are PACs, I get sometime accelerated beats but most of time I have PACs, they can reach 120 blows daily and I m 32 breastfeeding mom, I m taking indral 30mg daily but I can t feel a huge difference, my question is if the echo diagram is benign , can those PACs develop to AF? And is Concor safe for breastfeeding as indral?

Hi,

PACs, can definitely develop into AF. Therefore, your treatment for PACs, should be strictly under guidance of your doctor. All beta blockers, including Concor, minimally pass into breast milk & also long term follow up studies have shown no adverse effects on breast feeding infants. Hence, if medically indicated, there seems no reason to defer its use.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
