Is Ducray Neoptide Safe For Children?

Is ducray neoptide safe for children. My grandaughter, 4 1/2 years old has been diagnosed with Short Anagen Syndrome and we are looking for a product that may encourage the anagen phase of hair growth. She weighs approximately 45 lbs and is otherwise very healthy. She has never had a hair cut and her hair does not seem to grow long especially on top and at neck. She does not seem to have loose anagen syndrome as hair does not fall or pull out just does not grow long. We do not want to use any product that is not safe for children.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history of short anagen syndrome, my treatment advice is -
1. It is a benign disease which tends to improve at puberty.
2. So if it not bothering the child and family, then it is better to wait and let it improve on its own.
3. You can apply ducray neopeptide as it's contents are mild without any side effects.
4. Other treatment options are topical minoxidil and oral cyclosporine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
