Is Duolin Nebuliser Safe During Pregnancy?

I am 20 weeks pregnant and have a cold, which has gone into a very bad cough in my chest. I have seen that duolin in a nebulizer is safe during pregnancy, so I have done so twice now. However, each time I ve used it, I have been very shaky and noticed my heart beating very fast. I see that it is a common side effect of the medicine. Is this dangerous to my baby s health?

Hi,
I understand your query.
Duolin nebuliser can be used to control/ prevent broncho spasm in allergic cold & cough. The ingradients are not contraindicated in pregnancy They are not harmful to baby,
But the fact, that you get shakyness/ fast heart beating after nebulization- ( though it is also side effect of the theoasthalin part of drug.)- I would advise to check your doctor about the dose you are taking/ change the nebulizer drug ( just Budesol )., because you are pregnant.
Thanks.
