my last Lmp date was on 16th oct.. Doc Sujjested to me take duphaston 10 mg tab for 7days (0-0-1) .. IS it safe for pregnancy .. during this periods I m having sex.. breast pain stomach pin is coming frequently.. wat it indicates. shall I do pregnancy test ?
Please be assured that Duphaston will not affect pregnancy adversely, should you become pregnant. The way to find out if you are pregnant is to do a pregnancy test a week after your periods are due. If they have not come that is. Please use the early morning sample for this test.
In answer to the second part of your question as to what you should do for getting pregnant, I would suggest giving natural conception a chance. It may take 12-18 months of regular sex during the fertile period of your cycle to become pregnant. If this does not happen, then both your partner and you need to be seen together and investigated with blood, ultrasound and semen analysis as a baseline to know if there is an issue that needs to be corrected. Further planning and management carry on from that point depending on what the tests show.
