Is Duphaston Tablet The Right Medicine For Irregular Menstruation?

Hi doctor , I have irregular period problem. Suggested a doctor and she gave tablet . but before getting that tablet , period came. Doctor advised me to take duphaston tablet for the 15 - 24th day. But I took that tablet mistakenly on my 6 th day. Now to stop the period she gave trapic mf. Pls suggeste wat to do. Y it s happening

Hi, Welcome to HCM.
Duphaston 10mg tablets is used to treat manyconditions that are the result of a lack of progesterone like menstrual disorders - secondary amenorrhoea or irregular menstrual cycles, dysmenorrhoea or painful periods, premenstrual syndrome and abnormal uterine bleeding, which occurs during the menstrual cycle instead of at the end.
Hence it can be taken. Since you have taken it very early, you need to stop it immediately and take it again as suggested. Then your periods will be back to normal.
